M4 Corridor Enhancement Measures (CEM) Participation Report
The Minister’s Written Statement of 26 June 2013 on the M4 refers to building on the extensive development and consultation work undertaken as part of the M4 Corridor Enhancement Measures (M4 CEM) Programme. A key part of this work was the consultation exercise, which sought views on a range of possible options and ran from March until July 2012. The results of the M4 CEM public consultation are reported in the M4 CEM Participation Report, which can be downloaded below. The consultation responses, in addition to the wider engagement and consultation that helped shape the development of the M4 CEM Programme, has helped inform the development of an M4 Corridor around Newport draft Plan and therefore remain of relevance moving forward. The draft Plan, which will present the Welsh Government’s preferred strategy for addressing problems of capacity and resilience on the M4 Corridor around Newport, will be subject to public consultation from September 2013, alongside a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and other associated assessments.
The Consultation is now closed.
PDF copies of the Consultation Document and Response Form are available to download below (English and Welsh language).
Consultation Document Revision B is an updated version of the document to reflect the extension of the consultation until 6th July and to advertise three new events in the Newport area. These revisions will not have a material effect on this consultation. The original Consultation Document is available to download in the ‘superseded’ section below. Should you have any concerns, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 02920473727.
